I share this question from Anonymous on 11/3/18 as well:
> Also why cant the current IOS app download emails automatically for offline use without having to open them?
Calendar, Contacts and Mac-syncable Notes would be higher priorities for me. Your new alliance with Tresorit is good synergy.
Building an encrypted calendar is at the top of our to-do list right now as we desperately need a solution to schedule and share calendar entries securely ourselves. However, first, we have to finish the new client to push it our of beta and update the Tutanota Android and iOS apps so that you can use your encrypted mailbox with very good speeds and many more features on all your devices. Once we are done with that, we will build the encrypted calendar.
Thank you very much for your continuous support.
I'm puzzled by the angry comments. You're building an awesome service. I hope you get to this soon and I'm sure you are working your hardest. I do have a question: is it possible to do an encrypted calendar compatible with CalDav, or is that technically infeasible (as it is to provide your email service by IMAP)?
We are happy to inform you that we have started to build desktop applications for OS X, Linux and Windows. Desktop clients will enable you to import emails to your encrypted Tutanota mailbox as well as give you offline access. Building desktop clients is an extensive project, so we cannot give an exact ETA.

Need local, offline mail client for Mac before I can switch my custom domain to a paid account, which I'd be glad to do.
