We be implemented after the beta ends.
Great news! What is the timeline for the beta testing of the new iOS app?
This is important as all mobile devices move to biometrics. Hopefully this will be something that will get put on the development roadmap soon.
I'm a huge fan of TouchID. ProtonMail already offers it and I'd really like to see Tutanota offer it as well. I'm in the process of a 3-6 month paid trial of premium services with Tutanota, so I am assessing if the service is making progress & worth continuing when my assessment ends at the end of this year.
I use F-Secure Key, so I do a copy and paste. What I'd really like to see is integration with iOS Touch ID. I'm aware of the ways around Touch ID, but for those that are worried about that, they wouldn't have to turn on that option. Personally, I'm not worried that someone will fake my fingerprint with a Gummibär, so please consider integration with TouchID. Even ProtonMail offers this.
I'd say this is also an important issue for middle aged people also that are starting to wear bifocals.

If you like this update, please consider upgrading to Premium for only 1 Euro/month. Thanks for supporting our fight for privacy and our development team! :)
As a person that does global project management for consulting engagements with IT vendors worldwide, I have to ask, does Tutanota have a set roadmap with time line mile markers to roll out this important feature? I'm testing the premium service for the next 3-6 months and it would be very helpful if this feature is rolled out before I complete my assessment at the end of this year.
