HTML links in message contents don't appear to work
In Opera for Android browser, clicking a link inside mail message appears to open a blank new tab which just stays there i.e. doesn't navigate to any target.
I do recall it seeing work at least a few times but lately it has stopped working i.e. the target is an empty tab doing nothing.
One noticeable thing is, the lock sign showing a secure connection in address bar seems to be disabled (for such emails) I'm guessing due to mixed content. Don't know if that has anything to do with this issue, but I did see it work until correctly…

Beneath Trash a system of writing self-notes would be interesting.

Only require username for login (not complete email address with domain name)
Currently when you log in to Tutanota, you have to enter your entire email address username@tutanota.de.
It would be nice to only have to enter one's username, since it's a given that everyone is @tutanota.de anyway.
13 votesWe want to create an optional system for login without email address: https://tutanota.uservoice.com/forums/237921-general/suggestions/8258685-enhance-login-security

Enable right to left text
You should support left bound emails in order to write also in Hebrew, otherwise Tutanota isn't useful for me. Gmail has no problems with other languages and support of emojis.
28 votesHello everyone,
the Arabic translation has been completed so we plan to add RTL support as soon as possible. As we have lots of feature requests on our to-do list for the coming months, we cannot give a specific ETA just yet.
If you know anyone who can code and would like to get this done faster, this would be awesome. Here’s the code for a pull request: https://github.com/tutao/tutanota
Thank you very much!

Make your app more browsers and ios6
Ok, I'm on ios6 and I use my iPod as my daily driver until I get a new phone, and it would be really handy if I could use the app instead of safari or at least make it work on chrome, also a side note: have you thought of making an encrypted deepweb browser?

Personalization message sent / Make notification email editable
It would be great to be able to write his own message to be sent to the receiver instead of use the one in english.
63 votesThe notification email can be switched between all supported languages, but cannot be personalized. Personalization will probably be supported later.

Add to F-Droid repository
For those who prefer F-Droid rather than the Google Apps botnet; https://f-droid.org/.
Thanks, indispensable service.49 votesWe plan to add our new app (currently in implementation) to F-Droid.
The public beta will be released within the next weeks. We will start working on the apps after that milestone and expect an F-Droid release within the next months.

Migrate from RSA to ECC
Elliptic curve cryptography would show performance increases and key-size decreases over RSA.

STOP Tutanota from auto-logging me in all the time!
STOP IT FROM auto-logging me in to an account of its own choice. I want it to WAIT for me to DECIDE which account I want to login to. Otherwise, I have to waste time waiting for it to LOGIN so that I CAN LOGOUT and try to start over. It then still autologs me in! This is not user-friendly.
7 votesWe need to optimize this process: When you have stored your password upon log-in, you need to actively log out AND log in again. Then you can simply close the window. The next time you enter app.tutanota.de log in does not happen automatically. Please do not save the password if you want to log in to several accounts.
Thanks for notifying us about the inconvenience. -

Release a native jolla app.
jolla (ex-nokia maemo n9 team) is coming out with their second model this year, and they claim not to spy on their users like the major OS's do. Their first phone was a sort-of beta model. Jolla's sailfish OS can run android apps, and so it is good that you have posted your app to f-droid, but it might be better yet to have a fully functional native jolla app (also supports their platform). Privacy minded people who perhaps will migrate to jolla might be natural users of tutanota. Though I do not have one yet, I'd encourage you to…

Security section
in the security section it keeps records of Last successful login & Failed logins.I don't really see a need for this.If there is an option for this feature then members can use it,or not.I feel the space can be better utilized with other features since there is limited real estate

Please make the send button larger (iOS)
Please make the "send" button larger for the mobile Version (iOS) and move it farther away from the "disconnect" button. The same goes for the "move to trash" button. It's just annoying to be aiming for sending or moving an e-mail, and instead ending up disconnecting from the account. Thanks!

Web Performance of Web App
Your Web Application (app.tutanota.de) currently (2015-02-06) uses app.min.js of over 1MB(!!!, 1076 KB) and a minified CSS of 186 KB(!!).
Things like concatenation/minification already take place, but usage of
- WOFF2 fonts,
- source order of styles and scripts
- inline minification of CSS, JS, maybe HTML
- PNG optimization and usage of image sprites for less HTTP-Requests
- care-taking of deep LESS selector nesting resulting in outputs like
`div#contactColumn>div#innerContactColumn>div#contactWrapper>section#contact>div.contactBody>div#contactNameTitleAndImage>div#contactNameAndTitle`is highly recommended & requested!

Sending confidential email to multiple external receipients
Can you please allow me to send a confidential email to multiple external recipients so that with a single password they can all read and reply to emails in a private mailbox interface like what a single recipient can do now?
