I suggest you ...

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

If a similar idea already exists, you can support and comment on it.

If it doesn't exist, you can post your idea so others can support it.

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

  3. Deeper contact integration on iOS

Having the contacts encrypted in the Tutanota app prevents the phone from showing who's calling as all you see is the phone number.

Some kind of deeper integration with iOS and/or separate apps is needed so certain information can be read, perhaps from a local encrypted cache, to display more detailed info about the caller.

A related feature is the ability to choose which way to call someone. In the built in contacts app you can see if someone is available on facetime for instance and choose to either call them on their cell phone number, facetime or faceime audio.…

  4. Android application's translation

Beside You claim that "tutanota"'s android application is translated in Serbian - it is not! Serbian language is in cyrillic script i.e. српски језик.

  5. Give suggestions when entering an email in the spam settings

At the moment, I don't get suggestions when entering an email in the new spam settings (2.5).
I don't know my contacts' addresses. This should have been included in the 2.5 update.

  6. Envelope/Postcard instead of Confidential/Non-confidential

    Hi,

Some friends I've tried to introduce tutanota too, have been put off by what they see as a complicated system. Confidential/Unconfidential and the three different ways to send emails (Internal/External plain text/External encrypted).

I read that Hemlis are trying to not use lock icons because it puts people off .

Personally I like a lock icon but maybe the button *Envelope / PostCard* would be a better metaphor than *Confidential / Non-confidential. It might help overcome the most common objection to encryption (I'm not sending anything secret).

Also having a default to not encrypt might help new users onboard.…
